Tom is the vice president of engineering at Base2 where he is responsible for leading our team of highly skilled engineers and project managers.
Tom has over 25 years of experience in engineering and program management with a broad array of experience in airplane development programs, complex avionics systems integration, information system development and engineering team leadership. His experience covers all phases of the system development and program management life cycle; from concept feasibility analysis, definition and development to system integration, test and certification. As a results oriented leader and engineering consultant, Tom is dedicated to helping our clients work through their most complex challenges.
Tom’s favorite part about working at Base2 is the opportunity to work with so many really smart people. Base2 consultants are focused on bringing their best to each and every engagement, and Tom feels especially rewarded when our people blow away our clients.
On the weekends, Tom can be found worshiping at the church of 18 alters, working on his 1925 fixer, or just relaxing with a glass of wine while listening to great music. After work, Tom enjoys catching up on the daily news from the likes of Jon Stewart and Stephan Colbert. Tom is also a lifelong baseball fan and has had the pleasure of suffering with fans of the Seattle Mariners since 1985.
Tom has a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from South Dakota School of Mines and Technology and an M.B.A. from Seattle University.
