Ron is the President and CEO of Base2 Solutions where he is responsible for setting the strategic direction and managing the operations of the business.
Ron is passionate about creating a unique experience for our clients. He is able to do that through an unrelenting focus on hiring the best people and seeking out and solving our client’s toughest challenges. In creating an environment that is open and collaborative, he challenges the Base2 team to become their best and deliver the most value to our customers. His leadership style motivates and inspires teams to become the best they can be.
Ron has been successful building businesses for over twenty years. At Scitor, Tectura, and now IMS/Base2, he has focused on building a great place to work for employees and establishing long term partnerships with our customers. He has an innate ability to identify and surface the best in people and organizations and is very hands on. Ron has the technical expertise and experience in engineering and project management to identify and mitigate risks early in the project life cycle. He believes strongly in delivering the best quality products to our customers and has championed the implementation of AS9100/ISO9001 processes at his last two companies. Ron's dedication to building an outstanding workplace has led Base2 Solutions to being recognized as one of Washington Best Workplaces in 2013, 2015, and 2016 by the Puget Sound Business Journal and one of Orange County's Best Workplaces in 2014, and 2016 by the Orange County Business Journal.
Ron began his career as a software engineer at Boeing where he first developed his skills of working on large and extremely complex projects. He has a broad range of experience working in both the commercial and government sectors on projects including the Boeing 777 Airplane, NATO AWACS, USCG Deepwater proposal, and the development and operation of several command and control systems for satellites and launch vehicles. Ron has a B.S. in Computer Science from Washington State University.
Ron’s favorite part of his job is the people that he gets to work with. At 5:30pm on a Friday, he is enjoying a glass of wine. On the weekends, Ron can be found tinkering in his shop and spending time with his family.
