Systems Engineering


Robert is a highly motivated and results driven systems engineering professional with demonstrated experience across the full engineering life cycle in the aerospace industry. With over 17 years experience he has a proven focus encompassing requirements management, risk management and analysis, verification and validation, certification, and systems integration.

Robert has effectively led cross-functional teams through risk management, systems design, and systems integration while practicing sound knowledge of systems engineering principles.

Robert’s favorite part about working at Base2 is the flexibility and freedom to explore ones interests. Robert is originally from Wales and came to Seattle after living in both Fort Worth, Texas and Irvine, California. He enjoys reading the National Geographic, hiking, and watching his favorite movie, The Godfather.

Prior to joining Base2 Solutions Robert was a Senior Systems Engineering Consultant with Tectura Corporation where he led requirements management for a Boeing Commercial Airplanes flight certification process improvement project. Additionally, he spent 10 years as a Senior Systems Engineer at BAE Systems. Robert has BEng and PhD degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Cardiff University in the United Kingdom, where he was awarded the Institution of Mechanical Engineers Frederic Barnes Waldron Prize.
